Milwaukee Shootings Leave 13 Hurt and One Dead in Three Separate Incidents

Three different shootings that occurred over the weekend within a few blocks of one another left thirteen people wounded and one person dead, according to Milwaukee police.

Following a shooting on Sunday night about 8:30 p.m. between 13th and Mitchell streets, four persons were rushed to the hospital with critical wounds.

A 29-year-old woman, a 19-year-old guy, a 22-year-old man, and a 26-year-old man were among the casualties, according to police.

Police said that a 22-year-old guy was detained and that charges were pending.

At 9:45 p.m., little over an hour later, a 56-year-old Milwaukee man was shot and killed a few blocks away, close to 16th and Bruce streets, according to police. According to authorities, the gunman was still at large.

at two blocks away, on Saturday night at 11:45 p.m., a mass shooting occurred between 14th and Burnham streets, injuring nine people.

Six men and three women, aged 16 to 42, were shot, but all were expected to live, according to the police.

Police in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, detained a 22-year-old male and found a gun.

Police did not provide a motive in connection with either shooting.
