Minister in Pakistan blames logistical problems for the voting results’ delay

The results of the general elections in Pakistan have been delayed, according to interim information minister for the Balochistan province, Jan Achakzai, citing logistical problems.

Speaking to reporters in Quetta, Achakzai stated: “It’s normal for results to be delayed due to logistical issues when it’s extremely cold in some areas.”

“This has been stated by the election commission as well,” Dawn cited Achakzai as adding.

A number of political parties have complained about vote results being delayed.
