Rescuers in Bangkok Amputate a Woman’s Leg Stuck in an Airport Travelator

Rescuers at Bangkok’s Don Mueang airport severed the leg of a lady who became trapped in a travelator earlier this week in an odd event. Following the horrible catastrophe, the woman’s relatives expressed to the BBC their horror and concern for the woman’s mental health.

Although the woman’s identity is yet unclear, pictures posted online showed her left leg stuck under the travelator. The pink suitcase next to her had two wheels missing, and the yellow comb plates that are often located at the end of travelators were broken off.

The administration of Don Mueang Airport said that they were “saddened” by the occurrence and will pay for her medical bills in addition to compensating her for the partial amputation of her left leg.
