Three wounded and two killed in a shooting in Washington
A shooting incident in the US state of Washington resulted in at least two deaths and three injuries, according to authorities.
The Tacoma Police Department stated in a statement on Sunday that in the early hours of the day, police responded to a complaint of several rounds fired inside a local business, CNN reported.
The statement added that the cops discovered four victims of gunshot wounds, three of whom “suffered serious injuries” and were sent to hospitals, one of whom was declared dead at the site.
“The suspect remains unaccounted for.” CNN cited the police department as stating, “It is thought the suspect spoke with one of the victims prior to the shooting, but it is unknown if he knew the victim.”
The inquiry is still underway and no one has been taken into custody.
