Lahaul and Spiti district in Himachal Pradesh had two back-to-back moderate-intensity earthquakes, according to authorities on Thursday.
They said there were no reports of casualties or damage to property in any area of the district.
The meteorological agency recorded two earthquakes on Wednesday at 9.30 pm and 11.07 pm with magnitudes of 3.2 and 3.1 at a depth of 10 kilometers.
The tribal region of Lahaul and Spiti is located in seismic zone 4, which has a significant potential of harm.
