India reports 47 new cases of COVID

According to statistics published on Sunday by the Union Health Ministry, India reported 47 new coronavirus infections in a single day, bringing the total number of active illnesses to 1,552.

Data updated at 8 am revealed that 5,31,918 deaths had been reported. The total number of Covid cases in the nation is 4.49 crore (4,49,95,980), it stated.

According to the health ministry website, there are now 4,44,62,510 persons who have recovered from the illness, with a countrywide recovery rate of 98.81 percent.

The percentage of case fatalities is at 1.18 percent. On the country as a whole, 220.67 crore doses of the Covid vaccine have been provided, according to the ministry’s website.
