How UPSC CSE 2018 Topper Celebrated Valentine’s Day IAS Srushti Deshmukh’s husband met her Nagarjun Gowda, IAS

In 2018, IAS Srushti Deshmukh cleared the UPSC civil service test on her first try. She finished the test in fifth place and was the highest female candidate that year. Deshmukh began studying engineering and getting ready for the UPSC test. A native of Bhopal, she met her future husband, IAS Dr. Nagarjun B Gowda, a Karnataka native, while undergoing civil service training in Mussoorie.

Lal Bahadur Shastri Training Academy, also known as the Civil Service Training Academy, is where the two first met while undergoing training. They were in a relationship for almost 2.5 years. They tied the knot on April 24, 2022, having been engaged on August 2, 2021. Following their training, Gowda B Gowda received the Karnataka cadre and Deshmukh the MP cadre. Gowda was sent to Madhya Pradesh after his marriage.

With 173 points from the interview and 895 points from the UPSC Mains test, Srishti received a total score of 1068. Her mother Sunita Deshmukh is a teacher at a private school, and her father Jayant Deshmukh is an engineer for a private corporation. She completed her education at Bhopal’s Carmel Convent School, where she earned a CGPA of 10 in class 10 and 93% in class 12. Following this, Srushti graduated with a degree in engineering and began studying for the civil service examination. She is not just an IAS official but also a writer who has penned a book for UPSC candidates.

Prior to becoming an IAS, IAS Nagarjuna Gowda studied MBBS after finishing his education. Although his first goal was to become a doctor, he started preparing for the UPSC IAS test while working as a resident in a hospital. In 2018, he obtained a 418th rank in the UPSC examination.
