“In the Class XII examination, the performance of young ladies has surpassed that of their male counterparts, as evidenced by the CBSE results.”

In the annals of the Class XII examination administered by the esteemed Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the brilliance of young women has once again shone forth, outpacing their male counterparts. This triumph was unveiled today with the pronouncement of results. Within the confines of the state, an impressive 96.41 percent of female students demonstrated their prowess by successfully navigating through the examination, surpassing the 92.95 percent achievement of their male peers.

In the picturesque state of Himachal Pradesh, a commendable 94.53 percent of students triumphed in the Class XII examination. Within this realm, a total of 10,533 scholars, comprising 5,718 young gentlemen and 4,815 young ladies, undertook the challenges of the Class XII examination. Among them, a resounding 9,957 students — 5,315 young gentlemen and 4,642 young ladies — emerged victorious.

At the esteemed Loreto Convent Tara Hall in Shimla, Suryanshi Khakta, a luminary of the humanities stream, ascended to the zenith with an extraordinary 97.4 percent. Following suit in the humanities stream, Sneha Kanwar secured a commendable 96.4 percent. Saumya Bansal, representing the commerce stream, and Akshayashree Sharma, hailing from the science stream, both garnered notable achievements of 95.8 percent, positioning them as third among the toppers within their cohort. The institution also rejoiced in attaining a perfect pass percentage.

Meanwhile, at the revered DAV School in New Shimla, a perfect outcome graced both the Class X and XII examinations. Aakarshita Alok Sood soared to the pinnacle of the science stream with an impressive 98 percent, while Vedish Chauhan commanded the commerce stream with a commendable 94.6 percent.

In the humanities domain, the distinguished Devika Kainthla clinched the apex position with a remarkable 98.2 percent. A notable 49 scholars from the institution attained marks exceeding 90 percent, while 126 students secured grades above 80 percent. In the realm of Class X, Ashit Sharma claimed the throne with a notable 98.6 percent, closely followed by Chiraj Negi with 98 percent. Adharv Sharma secured third position with an admirable 97.8 percent.

At DAV, New Shimla, a total of 227 scholars underwent the rigors of the Class X examination, with 51 achieving scores surpassing 90 percent and 79 securing marks exceeding 80 percent.

In St. Edward’s School, the erudite Krish Chauhan emerged triumphant in the Class XII examination with a commendable 96.8 percent, trailed closely by Vedant Bhiekta with 96.4 percent and Abhijay Nagal with 96.2 percent.

At the Convent of Jesus and Mary School, Aahana Chauhan and Yashita Nath showcased their brilliance in the science stream, securing identical marks of 92 percent, followed by Eleen Chauhan with 89.8 percent and Aena Singh with 88.6 percent. In the commerce stream, Arshiya Singhi attained 88.6 percent, Tejal Verma secured 86.8 percent, and Harshita Kaushal achieved 82.8 percent. In the humanities, Kangan Samta reigned supreme with 97.8 percent, while Kashish Chandel secured the second position with 97.4 percent.

In the realm of Class X, Mannat Chauhan distinguished herself as the premier scholar, achieving a commendable 96 percent, trailed by Sanna Dharma and Aarohi Singhi with 95.6 percent and 94.8 percent, respectively. Notably, 18 scholars from the institution garnered scores surpassing 90 percent.

Elsewhere, at DAV Senior Secondary Public School in Lakkar Bazar, Shimla, an impeccable outcome graced the Class X examination, with Shaurya Singh Bhawani emerging as the quintessential scholar with a remarkable 97 percent. Shreya, with her notable 96.6 percent, claimed the second position, while Alaina Khan secured the third position with an impressive 96 percent.

A total of 113 scholars partook in the Class X examination, with 13 surpassing the 90 percent mark and 49 securing grades above 80 percent.

DAV SJVN in Duttnagar also celebrated a flawless outcome in both CBSE’s Class XII and X examinations. Jatin Kanwar led the Class XII cohort with an exemplary 97.2 percent, while Mannat Dhiman emerged as the premier scholar in the Class X examination with a notable 97.4 percent.
