The soldiers’ ICAI Certificate in Accounting Technician Test is scheduled for December 28

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) will hold its Certificate in Accounting Technician (CAT) course exam for military personnel on December 28 at the Indore-Dewas Chapter for candidates applying for the state of Madhya Pradesh. The Certificate in Accounting Technician exam will be administered to soldiers from the Army, Navy, and Air Force. From the current batch, thirty students will take the exam in Indore. There will be four Army candidates, fourteen Navy applicants, and twelve Air Force candidates in all.

In cooperation with the Ministry of Defence’s Directorate General of Rehabilitation of Soldiers (Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare), this program aims to provide military veterans who are approaching retirement with specialized training in the finance industry, according to a report published in the Free Press Journal.

The exam will be taken in five exam venues throughout India: Indore, Jaipur, Lucknow, Chennai, and Bhubaneswar, according to statements made by CMA Rahul Jain, Chairman of the Indore-Dewas Chapter, and CMA Ravindra Dubey, Media In-Charge. Indore is home to the only testing center in the state of Madhya Pradesh for the Certificate in Accounting Technician (CAT).

The assessment will consist of two question papers with multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and a total of 100 marks. To pass the exam, participants must score at least 40% on each question paper and get a total score of 50%.

The commitment to provide military people with financial literacy for their transition into civilian life is further strengthened by this initiative.
