TN MRB RECRUITION 2024: QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION

1. Applicants for the General Assistant Surgeon positions must have an MBBS degree. As defined by the Madras Medical Registration Act of 1914, candidates must be registered practitioners.

2. Candidates must have worked for a minimum of twelve months as a House Surgeon (CRRI).

3. As of the deadline for this notification, candidates must have registered their names with the Tamil Nadu Medical Council.

Maximum Age:

1. The maximum age limit is 37 years for general people and 59 years for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBC&DNCs, BCs, and BCMs.

2. The age restriction for applicants with disabilities is 47 years old, while the age limit for former military members who fall under the “Others” category is 50 years old.

3. The Tamil Nadu Medical Recruitment Board has established July 1, 2024, as the date for calculating the age limit.
