Lord Ganesha is said to have been born between the months of August and September, during the Hindu month of Bhadrapada. Ganesh Chaturthi will be held on September 19, Tuesday, while the Visarjan will happen on September 28, according to Drik Pachang.

The auspicious Tithi to welcome Lord Ganesha will begin at 12:39 PM on September 18 and go until 1:43 PM on September 19 (all times local). On September 28, when Lord Ganesha will be submerged in the river heading toward his home, the ten-day celebration will come to a close.

Then, Lord Ganesha is worshipped every day with beautiful Bhajans and prasad offerings of his favorite foods, including modaks, coconuts, and jaggery.
