World Students Day is commemorated on October 15 each year to honor the anniversary of the birth of APJ Abdul Kalam, a former president who was also a scientist and educator. To honor Abdul Kalam’s contributions to the educational system and students, the whole country celebrates World Students Day. APJ Abdul Kalam, often known as the “People’s President,” was elected as the nation’s 11th leader.

On October 15, the former Indian president APJ Abdul Kalam celebrates his birth anniversary. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was an Indian scientist and politician who was born on October 15, 1931. He presided over India from 2002 to 2007. Because of his outstanding contributions to the advancement of ballistic missile technology, he was often referred to as the “Missile Man of India.” From 1992 until 1999, he was the Prime Minister’s Chief Scientific Advisor and the DRDO Secretary.

After graduating from the Madras Institute of Technology with a degree in aeronautical engineering, Abdul Kalam joined the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) in 1958.
