50%+ Voter Share, Partnerships, and Gains in the East and South: How BJP Is Going to Achieve PM’s “Abki Baar, NDA 400 Paar” Goal

The BJP intends to accomplish the lofty goal of 400+ seats set by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the NDA in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections by securing alliances to leave nothing to chance, gaining ground in the East and South, and maintaining the party’s stronghold in the heartland.

The BJP’s plan to maximize the NDA’s vote share and total in 2024 includes bringing Ajit Pawar on board in Maharashtra, JDS in Karnataka, Nitish Kumar rejoining the NDA in Bihar, and starting negotiations with Jayant Chaudhary in Uttar Pradesh and Chandrababu Naidu in Andhra Pradesh.

The Election Commission gave Ajit Pawar a bullet in the arm by giving him the NCP’s clock emblem. During his visit to Delhi on Wednesday, Naidu is expected to meet with senior BJP officials, which might lead to the TDP joining the NDA again and provide the BJP a foothold in Andhra Pradesh, where it is unlikely to win any seats in 2019. Additionally, discussions are underway with RLD after Amit Shah proposed in 2022 that Jayant Chaudhary rejoin the NDA. The return of Nitish has solidified the NDA’s hold on 40 seats in Bihar.

The BJP is strengthening previous coalitions and expanding the NDA’s influence like an electoral machine, while the INDIA bloc is disintegrating in Bihar, UP, West Bengal, and Punjab. Before the BJP’s national convention on February 17–18, we will finalize our partnerships, a top Union Minister told News18 in Parliament on Tuesday.

A top BJP politician expressed confidence that the party will outperform 2019 in Telangana, West Bengal, and Odisha. “We will also gain seats in the southern states, where we only secured 29 of 129 seats in the last election. Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh will all see the opening of BJP accounts. The BJP leader said, “The NDA will easily surpass 50% of the vote share, while the BJP will receive nearly 45% of the vote on its own.”

In 2019, the BJP secured 303 seats while the NDA secured 351 seats.

SPEAKER PSEPHOLOGISTS
In an interview with CNN-News18 for Rahul Shivshankar’s program “The Hard Facts,” top psychologists and analysts in the nation predicted that the BJP and NDA will get more seats in 2024.

Karnataka, West Bengal, Bihar, and Maharashtra are the four swing states that Yashwant Deshmukh of C-Voter identified as possible BJP development regions. Deshmukh said that since there isn’t a major coalition as there was in 2019, the BJP may gain about 10 seats in Uttar Pradesh. The co-director of Lokniti, CSDS, Sanjay Kumar, said that PM Modi’s standing continues to be a major influence and that there is room for the BJP to increase its share in West Bengal, Odisha, and Telangana.

According to Pradeep Bhandari, the creator of “Jan Ki Baat,” the BJP has a better than 85% chance of improving its vote graph in 11 states, including Uttar Pradesh, where it might win seats like Rae Bareli. He said that Telangana and Tamil Nadu are also projected to see growth for the BJP. Thus, Bhandari said that an NDA aim of 400 seats was not purely theoretical, given that the BJP was strengthening its hold on weak regions while the Congress was experiencing the reverse effect.
