According to IAS official Niyaz Khan, “Bollywood is responsible for religious conversions”
Niyaz Khan, an IAS official from the Madhya Pradesh Cadre, said on Thursday that Bollywood is to blame for conversions and that here is where it all began.
Conversion is not correct at all, the IAS official said while discussing it with ANI. The transformation began with Bollywood. It still occurs in places where popular film actors have converted Hindus to Islam. Conversion is bad because we elevate one religion above all others and invite people of other faiths to join them by considering the other to be insignificant.
“Our country is a democracy where all faiths are treated equally. How is it possible to suggest that after marriage, one should convert to my religion? Both parties need to practise their respective faiths. The officer remarked, “I believe conversion is not proper if there is so much love and it is their compulsion. Both should follow their different beliefs.
He said, “Bollywood is absolutely responsible for conversions,” when asked whether that was the case. Bollywood has served as our nation’s role model, and some individuals even revere performers as deities. Movies that portray nudity and graphic scenes are harming the younger generation and degrading our civilisation as a consequence of people copying Western culture.
It would be clear that Bollywood is the cause of these vices if it quits copying Hollywood and embraces the spirit of patriotism. Hollywood films are imported by people. Bollywood is degrading our nation’s culture and having a bad impact on the youth. Accordingly, Bollywood has to be reined down so that it can serve as a national guiding force like sadhus or sanyasis, the officer said.
Additionally, while speaking about his tweet, Khan said, “I tweeted three things. First, Muslim brothers should pledge to safeguard cows; second, they should endeavour to become vegetarians; this is optional; and third, they should foster friendly connections with Brahmins.
He went on to clarify his reasoning for saying that even though Muslims revere cow guardians. Even many Muslims provide water and feed the cows. There are a select few people who commit these crimes (cow slaughter), but if Muslims too take up the cause of cow protection, the cow will be safeguarded.
Second, vegetarianism is a lifestyle that people follow all around the globe. Although it is being used to preserve the environment, which is a wonderful thing, no one can be made to choose what to consume. Third, to get along well with Brahmins. For three thousand years, the Brahmin has been directing the nation and constantly walking the road of truth. Millions of people came even today for a saints’ programme. Even now, brahmins serve as mentors. Peace has been kept in our area up to this point with the help of Brahmins. IAS officer Khan said, “A Brahmin like Kautilya has been a fantastic example for India.
“My tweet has no political content. Being independent, it is entirely my own view, added Khan.
The officer answered, “Never, I have two idols, Mohammad Saab is my idol and the other is Great Chanakya. I am inspired by hinduism; would he accept hinduism? I am and will continue to be a Muslim. My role model is Mohammad Saab. It is a different issue when individuals have different opinions of me as a result of my tweets.
