After an exhausting and busy day in Gujarat, the PM arrived in Varanasi and proceeded to visit the Shivpur- Phulwaria- Lahartara marg at almost 11 pm.

It was only recently inaugurated. About 5 lakh residents of the southern region, BHU, BLW, etc., who like to go to the airport, Lucknow, Azamgarh, and Ghazipur, find it to be of great assistance.

The construction of it cost Rs 360 crore. It is assisting in lessening traffic jams. The trip time from BHU to the airport will now just take 45 minutes instead of 75. In a same vein, it is cutting the thirty minutes that separate Lahartara and Kachahri into fifteen. To improve the quality of life for Varanasi residents, this initiative included interministerial collaboration, including from the Railways and Defense departments.
