After passing the UPSC exam, you may apply for jobs in IFS, the Indian Postal Service, and Group A

Every year, the Civil Service Examination (CSE) is administered by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The Indian Administrative Services (IAS), Indian Police Services (IPS), Indian Revenue Services (IRS), and Indian Foreign Services (IFS) stand out as the most in-demand posts among the 23 different Civil Services.

Based on how well they performed on the test, successful applicants are assigned services. Lower-ranking candidates are presented with open posts in Group A and Group B of the Civil Services. Look at this.

Foreign Service of India

Among the distinguished Group ‘A’ Civil Services, IFS is highly recognized. IFS personnel are primarily charged for managing India’s foreign policy. IFS employees have the option of becoming High Commissioners, Ambassadors, Indian Permanent Delegations to the UN, or Foreign Secretaries.

Indian Accounts and Audit Service

Another highly sought-after governmental job that is under the control of the Comptroller and Auditor General is the Indian Audit and Accounts job (IA&AS). Financial audits of the federal government, state governments, and public sector organizations are the main responsibility of IA&AS officials.

Civil Accounts Service of India

Officers of the Indian Civil Accounts Service report to the Ministry of Finance. Both the Institute of Government Accounts and Finance (INGAF) and the National Institute of Financial Management (NIFM) in Faridabad provide them with training.

South Asian Corporate Law Service

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs is home to the Indian Corporate Law Service. Control over the Indian business sector has been delegated to these authorities. They get their training at the ICLS Academy, which is housed on the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) Manesar campus.

Service for Indian Defense Accounts

The Ministry of Defense oversees the Indian Defense Accounts Service. Officers from the IDAS cadre are mostly employed by the Ordnance Factories, Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), and Border Roads Organization (BRO).

Service for Indian Defense Estates

The National Defense Estates Institute, located in New Delhi, provides training for the officials of the Indian Defense Estates Service Department. This service’s main objective is to manage the areas used for defense establishments and cantonments.

(IIS) Indian Information Service

The media arm of the Indian government is managed by the Indian Information Service (IIS) personnel. They serve as a bridge between the people and the government. Officers from this cadre are given employment opportunities in many media departments, including DD, PIB, AIR, etc.

Postal Service of India

At the Rafi Ahmed Kidwai National Postal Academy (RAKNPA) in Ghaziabad, chosen applicants for the Indian Postal Service get training. Senior-level personnel are appointed as IPoS officers within India Post.

Services for Indian Communication Finance

The National Institute of Financial Management in Faridabad provides training for those who are chosen for the Indian Communication Finance Service. The Indian Postal and Telecom Department will get accounting and financial services from this service.

IRAS, the Indian Railway Accounts Service

The Indian Railways’ finances and accounts are maintained and managed by the Indian Railway Accounts Service officials. The National Academy of Direct Taxes in Nagpur offers two years of training for these personnel.
