An employee succumbs to the tragic consequences of a factory cylinder explosion

In the precincts of Amar Nagar, situated along the Phagwara-Banga thoroughfare, tragedy struck as a 27-year-old laborer succumbed to a fatal incident involving a cylinder explosion within a factory compound.

The unfortunate soul, identified as Baljit Singh, hailing from the hamlet of Khotran, endured severe burns across his thorax and abdomen. Upon receiving word of the calamity, law enforcement swiftly mobilized to the scene. Preliminary reports indicated that the factory, which was the site of the mishap, was storing nitrogen cylinders intended for fire suppression.
