An occasion of environmental consciousness at Kurukshetra University

Professor Som Nath Sachdeva, the vice chancellor of Kurukshetra University, said that the institution will host an exhibition and awareness event on “Mission LiFE” on Monday. Included in the schedule would be a marathon event.

According to the VC, the campaign was crucial in raising awareness of environmental issues. According to him, the Ministry of Environment, Forests, and Climate Change’s Environmental Information Awareness, Capacity Building, and Livelihood Programme (EIACP) is working with KU and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) India to organize the camping.

He claimed that during the UN Climate Change Conference, commonly known as COP26, in Glasgow, the PM introduced the “Mission LiFE” initiative to the global community. Its goal was to encourage people to live in peace with environment and without causing damage to it, both as individuals and as communities. According to Sachdeva, the program’s objective was to translate life’s ambition into a quantifiable influence.

To highlight their ideas for an eco-conscious lifestyle, contests like face painting, slogan writing, and poster creation will be held throughout the exhibition.
