As part of the “Bike Stunt” operation in Kerala, police confiscate 32 motorbikes

32 motorbikes have been confiscated by the Kerala Police and the Motor Vehicles Department, and four people engaged in reckless motorcycling have been charged with crimes as part of a coordinated statewide campaign to stop bike stunts that affect public safety.

Authorities banned 26 licenses as part of a coordinated operation dubbed “Bike Stunt” and fined Rs 4.70 lakh, according to the police.

The Traffic IG’s Traffic Road Safety Cell looked through many social media profiles and discovered footage of motorcycle stunts, which prompted them to take action, they added.

They noted that the majority of the cars had been altered.
