As the 63-day Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra comes to an end, Rahul Gandhi declares, “PM Modi can’t win without EVMs, ED, and CBI.”

Following a 63-day trek, the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra concluded on Sunday with the Opposition exhibiting their might at Shivaji Park in Mumbai. Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the Congress, took a strong stance against Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Gandhi said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would not be able to win the Lok Sabha elections without the backing of “EVMs, ED, CBI, and Income Tax” during a gathering held at Shivaji Park after his Yatra came to a close.

“We are not fighting Modi on a personal basis. Modi is a “mask” who serves a “shakti,” or authority. Gandhi reportedly said, “He is a shallow man who doesn’t have a 56-inch chest,” according to PTI.

He said that PM Modi has a “monopoly over corruption” in addition. He said, “Do you think the people from the Shiv Sena and NCP split up and joined the ruling alliance just like that?”

In 2022, the Shiv Sena saw a vertical split after Eknath Shinde’s departure, when Shinde joined the BJP and became the chief minister of Maharashtra. Similarly, in 2023, Ajit Pawar caused a similar disruption in the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), which is headed by Sharad Pawar.

A Maharashtra politician wept in front of his mother Sonia Gandhi, expressing regret that he was unable to “fight this power anymore and didn’t want to go to jail,” according to a story related by the former president of the Congress.

He said that “without EVMs (electronic voting machines),” PM Modi cannot win elections.”We requested that the Voter Verified Paper Audit Trail, or VVPAT, be counted as well by the Election Commission of India. However, our request has not been granted,” he said.

The Wayanad-based Congress MP continued, saying that Dharavi in Mumbai has the potential to become a manufacturing hub similar to Shenzhen, China. However, he said that the government is preventing this, particularly with the proposal to revitalize the sprawling slum.

Gandhi continued after that. He went on to criticize PM Modi and X, saying that the latter wears a mask of bad energy that has subjugated India’s institutions, farmers, laborers, youth, women, the impoverished, and small-scale enterprises.

Negative energy is a mask that Narendra Modi wears. The force that seeks to crush India’s farmers, workers, youth, women, the impoverished, and small-scale companies and give everything to its few wealthy pals is the same energy that has subjugated the country’s institutions. Rahul said in a post on X that “the monopoly of corruption in the nation today is driven by the same energy.”

The Congress MP made reference to the impending Lok Sabha elections and said that everyone must work together to respond appropriately to this authority. It is your, our, and everyone’s duty to respond appropriately to this power at this moment, Rahul said.

Rahul expressed hope that in a country founded on love, love would prevail over hatred, saying, “Once again, in this country of love, hate will lose, INDIA will win.”

Leaders of the Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) notably showed solidarity by congregating in Mumbai for a sizable rally ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, which are scheduled to begin in seven phases on April 19.
