UDALGURI: Assam BJP President Bhabesh Kalita expressed trust in BJP candidate Dilip Saikia, who is running for the Lok Sabha seat from Darang-Udalguri, and said that Saikia would win with more votes in this region.

“With more votes in this category, Dipika Saikia will prevail. We anticipate winning 13 of the 14 seats, Kalita said on Thursday.
“People are eagerly anticipating the poll day and want PM Modi to become PM again,” said Dilip Saikia.

They are prepared to support the NDA in order to further national prosperity and peace.”
Himanta Biswa Sarma, the chief minister of Assam, hailed the Dhekiajuli community for turning out in huge numbers for the demonstration on Thursday. According to him, the Bharatiya Janata Party has resolved to develop Dhekiajuli and will put those decisions into action in the next few days.
CM Sarma said, “Two nominations were done in Assam today,” while addressing the media. I organised a gathering in Dhekiajuli, where a sizable crowd turned out to support Prime Minister Modi. In my whole political career, I have never seen such support. I am appreciative of Assamese people.”
“We are limited to making resolutions during the election. We decided on things that would help Dhekiajuli grow. We will carry out those resolutions going forward,” he said.
The Vijay Sankalp Yatra, which began on Thursday and has already visited eight of Assam’s fourteen Lok Sabha constituencies, is another initiative spearheaded by the chief minister of Assam. In reference to the yatra, Sarma said in his post on X that “there is a sense of a Modi wave spreading throughout the nation.” With my head poking out, I’m yelling, “Abki Baar 400 paar.”
On April 19, April 26, and May 7, there will be three stages for the 14 Assamese seats. June 4 is when the votes will be tallied.
The All India United Democratic Front (AIDUF) garnered one seat and the Congress three seats, respectively, in the 2019 elections, while the BJP gained up to nine seats.
