Ayodhya: A museum narrating the holy tales of all the major temples

In anticipation of its planned inauguration on January 22 of the following year, the Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has stepped up preparations to construct the Ram Temple Museum at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya.

According to authorities here on Wednesday, the Temple Museum, a dream project of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, would teach people about the fundamentals of Sanatan Dharma in addition to telling tourists about the holy tales of all of India’s great temples.

The renowned architect of the nation, Vrinda Sumaya, will oversee the construction of the Temple Museum, which will also have scientific displays of temple building.

It is important to note that the Ram Temple is being built quickly, and on January 22, five centuries after it was first imagined, Lord Shri Ram will take his place in a magnificent new temple.

The religion of millions of Sanatanis is associated with the temple of Lord Shri Ram, not only in the nation but also worldwide. There is a belief that Ayodhya would see an unanticipated surge of devotees after the opening of the Shri Ram Temple.

The hunt has escalated for land for the temple museum, which is to be erected on around 50 acres on the banks of Saryu, per the directives of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The renowned architect of the nation, Vrinda Sumaya, will oversee the construction of this magnificent temple museum.

The three sites at Jamthara on the Saryu shore and the third site at Rampur Halwara were recently visited by Sumaya and her team. A single one of these locations will be chosen to house the Temple Museum.

The Yogi administration wanted to raise awareness of the value of Sanatan culture around the globe, particularly among young people. To that end, they built this unique museum that highlights the magnificence of Indian temples and their stunning architecture.

The Temple Museum aims to teach young people the philosophy and reasons for the building of a temple at a certain location. Along with the technologies of the past, it will showcase the significance of the religious practices for the populace.

The magnificent temple architectural styles will be on display, as will the historic Indian educational establishments that grew there, such as pithams and monasteries.

There will be twelve galleries at the Temple Museum. These galleries will astonish guests with their seamless artistic ability, inspiring pride and devotion in the viewers while illuminating the philosophical and scientific facets of the temples.

These include the Sanatan Dharma’s conception of God, the philosophy underlying the worship style, the necessity of temples for worship, the design and artistry of temples, the idea underlying the rituals of temples, the temples’ social functions beyond mere devotion, and the fundamental components of Indian temples.
