Ayodhya to Witness CM Yogi on Roads Today in Ram Mandir Focus: Here’s Why He’s in Temple Town

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will visit the temple town on Thursday to assess preparations before of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Ayodhya.

On Saturday, December 30, PM Modi will be in the city to attend the opening of Shri Ram Airport. On January 22, the magnificent Ram Temple is scheduled to be inaugurated.

CM Yogi’s schedule for Thursday is as follows:

• He will arrive at Ramkatha Park in Ayodhya around 11:30 a.m.

• CM Yogi will receive “darshan” at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi at 11:50 a.m.

• The chief minister will visit the Ayodhya project site at 1:00 p.m.

• He’ll arrive at Circuit House at 1 pm.

• The CM will have a review meeting in relation to PM Modi’s visit from 1:30 to 3 p.m. The Commissioner Auditorium, Mandalayukta Office, will host the talk.

• CM Yogi is expected to travel to Lucknow at 3:05 PM from the police line helipad.

In light of the prime minister’s presence in Ayodhya, the police forces of Uttar Pradesh and the Sashastra Seema Bal, in conjunction with intelligence agencies, have also stepped up their vigilance along the India-Nepal border.

“The security agencies have been asked to ascertain the identities of people before allowing them to cross over through the border in order to prevent the movement of unwanted elements in the area,” said Deputy Inspector General, Sashastra Seema Bal, Gorakhpur, Akhileshvar Singh.

Cameras have been installed on SSB posts next to major thoroughfares. There has also been the deployment of dog squads and one women’s wing unit. At the border stations between India and Nepal, Sonauli and Thuthibari now have metal detectors installed, according to Singh.

Singh further said that security organizations like the Local Intelligence Unit (LIU), Indo-Nepal Border Police, and intelligence agencies have been urged to be vigilant along the border. Along the border, intelligence officers have also been requested to monitor places of worship.

Three days ago, the first Amrit Bharat train equipped with push-pull technology had its coaches and loco inspected by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. He said that PM Modi will shortly start this special train from Ayodhya.

Vaishnaw saw the train’s engine and a few carriages during her roughly 30-minute stay on the platform at the New Delhi Railway Station. He informed the journalists, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag it off from Ayodhya very soon.”

He gave a briefing on the new push-pull technology, which he said made operating trains considerably safer. In addition, he said that several new amenities have been included for the ease and comfort of passengers.
