Before traveling to India, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman will spend a short time in Pakistan

In the second week of September, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman will go to Pakistan before traveling to India. People with knowledge of the situation noted that his travel to Islamabad will be brief, lasting no more than four to six hours.

On September 10, he would go to Islamabad before starting his journey to India.

The interim Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar and the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Asim Munir, will meet with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman, better known as MBS, according to people with knowledge of the situation.

They did, however, add that the meeting’s main goal would be to get to know the army commander and boost his reputation since Munir, the Pakistani army chief, would be in charge of managing crucial matters while the caretaker government is still in place and until an elected administration takes its place.

The individuals stated above said that Mohammad Bin Salman, the Saudi Crown Prince, was only trying to strike a balance by choosing to go to Islamabad before New Delhi.

Even if there aren’t many reasons for Mohammad Bin Salman to visit Pakistan while a caretaker administration is in place, one of them may be to see if any business opportunities exist.

Saudi Arabia is one of the purchasers of Pakistan, which is for sale. His visit may offer up additional opportunities, one of the aforementioned individuals told CNN-News18.

Another reason, according to them, is to preserve the “goodwill” between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.

MBS wishes to express his thanks to Pakistan for giving Saudi Arabia a significant portion of the contract for the Gwadar Refinery project. In order to avoid criticism from the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), it is also critical that the Saudi Arabian leader visit Pakistan right now.

One of those individuals added, “There is no other reason for MBS to leave when nothing is in place.”

The strengthening of Pak-Saudi Arabia relations, defense connections, and joint military exercises would be the main topics of conversation, according to a statement from the Pakistan Foreign Office announcing his visit.

Mohammad Bin Salman was also supposed to visit Pakistan in the latter part of last year, but that trip was eventually postponed, it should be mentioned.
