BJP would enlist NRIs to win over votes

The BJP state branch will now enlist NRIs to support Modi’s promises in an effort to increase voter faith in the party.

Early in the next month, the Haryana BJP’s NRI cell would host a unique “Udghosh Yatra.” CM Nayab Saini will give the go-ahead, and it will include all ten Lok Sabha seats. In addition to informing the public on the improvements implemented by the Modi administration over the last ten years, the participating NRIs will draw attention to India’s improved standing internationally.

Sandeep Deswal, head of the BJP Haryana NRI Cell, said that by taking part in the yatra, those living abroad as well as those residing in the nation or state will contribute to the welfare of the nation. He was giving a speech at the NRI cell’s Gurugram meeting.

“Even if many NRIs do not support our party, they nonetheless wish to contribute by informing their fellow Indians about the positive changes the Modi administration has brought about in both the NRIs’ and the country’s foreign policy. During this yatra, we will travel in a large campaign truck that has music equipment and an LED screen. Although the date has not yet been set, CM Saini will make a note of it, per Deswal.

The idea is for the district convenor, co-convenor, and the full NRI Cell team to lead the Udghosh yatra in each district. In their individual districts, a sizable contingent of Haryanvi NRIs will participate in the yatra. Sartaj Singh Sekhon, the American convener of NRI Cell, will serve as the yatra’s principal coordinator. Coordinators for Canada, the United Kingdom, the American East and West Coasts, Finland, and Indonesia have also been named. The cell is enlisting successful Haryanvi NRIs via social media, even if it’s only digitally, to join the yatra.
