Car plunges into Ramban Gorge, killing four and injuring three

In the Ramban area of Jammu division on Monday, a vehicle carrying four people plunged down a steep canyon, resulting in three injuries and four fatalities.

The victims were being transported from Ukhrall to Maligam by an SUV. Information indicates that the driver of the car was unable to handle a tight turn. Locals hurried to assist the victims shortly after the disaster.

Locals alerted the police, and the remains and wounded were then transported from the canyon to the main road.

According to the authorities, the tragedy claimed the life of the driver, Sajjad Ahmad, and three other people: Abdul Wahid Bali, Aanayatullah, and Mohammad Ayoub Bali.

The three accident victims were sent to the neighborhood’s major health facility. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, meanwhile, declared ex gratia for the people killed in Sunday’s terrible avalanche in Reasi as well as the victims of the Ramban road disaster.
