CM Siddaramaiah: The government would make a firm decision on the “Anti-Farmer Agriculture Laws”

On Monday, Siddaramaiah, the chief minister of Karnataka, said that the state’s government will make a definitive decision about the anti-farmer agricultural policies put in place by the state’s previous BJP administration.

Siddaramaiah promised to preserve farmers’ interests in his speech to a group of farmers who visited with him today and were headed by lawmakers B R Patil and Darshan Puttannaiah.

“The Land Reforms Act has been debated, and the next session will decide clearly on it. The APMC Act revision was the topic of debate today in the House. According to him, a separate meeting would be arranged to go through the specific issues facing farmers, according to a statement from the Chief Minister’s office.
