Congress dissident Bhutto is compared by Sukhu to the mining mafia

Addressing public gatherings in Kutlehar and Chintpurni Assembly seats today, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu supported Congress LS candidate Satpal Raizada and Kutlehar Assembly bypoll candidate Vivek Sharma.

Speaking at Bangana in Kutlehar, the chief minister accused Congress dissident Devinder Bhutto, who is now running for Kutlehar’s Assembly seat, of selling it for financial gain. He said that the government is searching for the remaining funds after some of them were confiscated in Barsar a few days ago. Associating Bhutto with the mining mafia, he said that the Kutlehar leader—a government contractor who also owns a crusher—had unlawfully mined the rivulets in Kutlehar and that he would only pursue government contracts under the PM Gram Sadak Yojana once Bhutto met with him at the CM office.

Sukhu urged voters to cast ballots against Bhutto. He said, “I did not know he had already been sold out,” regarding Bhutto’s prediction that the Congress candidate would win the Rajya Sabha seat in Himachal one day before to the polls.
