Criminals attempt to assault SMO

Today, the Samrala police filed a complaint against unknown miscreants who attempted to harm Tarakjot Singh, the Senior Medical Officer (SMO) of Samrala.

According to sources, the physician was driving back to his house on Saturday night. Upon arriving at the Ludhiana-Chandigarh route, he found himself surrounded by several lawbreakers. The SMO resisted their attempt to assault him by racing his vehicle to the Samrala police station, where he filed a report.

Samrala SHO Rao Varinder Singh said that an inquiry was conducted to identify the miscreants and that a complaint had been filed against them.

He stated it would be possible to determine the suspects’ intentions if they were apprehended.
