Gang of robbers pretending to be Divyangs in order to take

There have been several reports of people posing as government officials in order to defraud naive city dwellers and earn quick money. However, a group that used to pose as deaf and silent in order to target their victims recently attracted the attention of the authorities. The group, according to the authorities, used to target homes where students were tenants in order to steal cash and other valuables. However, they used to pretend to be “deaf and mute” and say they were from an NGO and had come for “charity collection” in case they were discovered when entering or leaving the location. They even had a certificate identifying them as Divyang people from an unidentified NGO. Four of them ended up in the police net after the gang was busted.
