Dr. Pawan Kumar, Joint Director of Agriculture, emphasized the significance of self-help group (SHG) empowerment. Dr. Sunil Chauhan, the project director, engaged participants in thought-provoking lectures and lively discussions.
The goal of the workshop, which was facilitated by the Himachal Pradesh Crop Diversification Promotion Project, was to encourage local food entrepreneurship and SHG empowerment. SHGs and other organizations displayed their goods, and then industry professionals gave educational talks and held interactive sessions. The idea of local food entrepreneurship was presented to the participants, emphasizing the crucial role that SHG entrepreneurship plays and encouraging group learning.
