Father in Kota Was Given A Life Sentence For Raping His Teenage Daughter

Rajasthan News: On Thursday, the POCSO Court sentenced a father to life in jail for repeatedly raping his little daughter in Kota, Rajasthan. The victim, a Kota native, resided with her parents and two younger sisters.

When the two were alone at home last year, the accused sexually assaulted the victim. The perpetrator apologized and vowed never to repeat his acts when the victim told her mother about the occurrence. Out of humiliation, the victim chose not to call the police about the incident. However, the girl filed a complaint against her father, claiming that he had raped her since she was 14, when the accused assaulted her once more in January 2023.

In December 2022 and January 2023, the accused raped his 14-year-old daughter, according to the victim’s mother’s March 2023 complaint. Even before this, the victim had already been molested by the accused. Dubak Dubey, a special judge, rendered the decision and fined the defendant Rs 10,000. The victim was also given Rs 10 lakh as an ex-gratia award by the court.

In a separate incidence, a father was detained on Saturday in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, for raping his daughter, then 17, repeatedly over a five-year period. The accused assaulted his wife and forced her to lick filthy objects when she objected to his behavior.

The defendant was named as Mujeeb Alam, and he is the father of ten kids. The SSP was notified when the lady complained about Mujeeb, and he was then taken into custody. The victim admitted to being a drinker and not doing what he does after drinking when questioned.
