Haneef Ali, a former member of the Central Waqf Council, dies away in Hyderabad

At his home in Hyderabad on Monday, Haneef Ali, a former Central Waqf Council member, died of a heart attack.

Ali, a prominent member of the Bharatiya Janata Party and a two-time president of the Telangana Minority Morcha, ran in the Hyderabad Bahadurpura seat twice for the Assembly.

It is a significant loss since the Muslim community has lost its leader, according to Syeda Shazadi, a member of the National Commission for Minorities.

“We were informed about Haneef Ali’s passing. The Telangana Muslim community finds it depressing. He has contributed significantly to the Muslim community. He performed his responsibilities as a member of the Central Waqf council properly. We have lost a leader, and it is a significant loss,” she remarked.
