Hindu-Hatred: Sitharaman Slams DMK After LED Screens Removed From Temple That Were Installed To Live Stream Ram Mandir Event

LED screens that were put up at the Kamakshi Amman Temple in Tamil Nadu for the live broadcast of the temple inauguration were pulled down on Monday morning, ahead of the major “Pran Pratishtha” event of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman expressed worries over the Tamil Nadu government’s reluctance to allow the installation of LED screens. Sitharaman was due to witness the live transmission of the Ram Mandir from Kamakshi Amman Temple.

“The Tamil Nadu government is abusing the Tamil Nadu Police…The Hindu-hating DMK is abusing them. Can the Prime Minister not be watched by any citizen? The Prime Minister is the target of the DMK’s personal animosity, the speaker said.

A source of disagreement emerged when the LED displays at the private temple in Kanchipuram were removed; the Tamil Nadu Police were allegedly responsible for their deconstruction, according to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

“This is a private temple in Kanchipuram where Indian Finance Minister is going to watch Live Ayodhya Ram Mandir Pran Pratishta!” said SG Suryah, State Secretary of the BJP’s Tamil Nadu branch, on X. However, Tamil Nadu Police has now gained entry to the area and is taking down the LED displays. This is CM MK Stalin, what a farce!”

In related news, the Supreme Court ordered the Tamil Nadu government on Monday morning to grant demands to broadcast the consecration ceremony of Lord Ram Lalla live from the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya, known as the “Pran Pratishtha.”

In response, the state authorities said that hosting screenings, unique poojas, or bhajans for the celebration is not prohibited.

In a post published on X on Sunday, Nirmala Sitharaman claimed that the Tamil Nadu government has prohibited people from seeing the live broadcast of Ayodhya Ram Mandir programs on January 22.

Watching the live broadcast of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir events on January 22 has been prohibited by the Tamil Nadu government. There are more than 200 Shri Ram temples in Tamil Nadu. There may be no puja, bhajan, prasadam, or annadanam in the name of Shri Ram at temples supervised by HR and CE. The police are also preventing privately owned temples from hosting gatherings. The Finance Minister stated on X that “They are threatening organizers that they will rip off pandals.”
