Investigation finds that a pilgrim traveling from Ayodhya to Rameswaram’s assault accusation was untrue

A few days earlier a lady claimed to have been beaten close to Paramakudi while on a pilgrimage from Ayodhya to Rameswaram. She had made false claims regarding the event, according to an inquiry, which is why the police changed the FIR.

Shipra Pathak, an Uttar Pradesh native, reportedly went on the journey with her brother and father. She drove the remainder of the trip, having walked a portion of it.

She said that a group had attacked and warned her to leave the area when she got stuck close to Paramakudi on Saturday when she arrived in Ramanathapuram.

That that day, she reported anything to the police. Three special teams under the direction of Thiruvadanai DSP were assigned to look into the occurrence in light of the complaint.

Following the event, Hindu organizations voiced their strong desire to take legal action against the culprits.

According to a police officer, Pathak’s allegations were found to be untrue after a preliminary inquiry. Authorities said that her claims were untrue, and CCTV evidence taken from close to the national highway refuted her inconsistent comments.
