Kishan says the BJP would fight Telangana alone and that he is “ready” for the Lok Sabha elections

G Kishan Reddy, the head of the Telangana BJP, made it apparent on Friday that the group will run alone in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. He made this statement during a Bharatiya Janata Party office-bearers’ meeting, where Tarun Chugh, the national general secretary of the party, was also present.

There were rumors that the BJP and the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) would collaborate for the general elections of 2024 after the Congress emerged victorious in the most recent Telangana state polls. For the time being, the BJP state president has put a halt to this kind of conjecture. The Jana Sena Party was backed by the BJP in nine seats during the assembly elections.

Reddy expressed confidence in the BJP’s win and advised party cadres to prepare for the Lok Sabha elections. He went on to say that the BJP, Congress, and BRS will be fighting each other in a triangle.

The leader of the party commended the cadre for gaining more seats in the assembly elections and urged them to maintain their resolve till the Lok Sabha elections. In this election, the party, which previously had just one seat, gained eight.

Reddy also took part in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra preparation program, which was hosted at the state BJP headquarters in Hyderabad.

The goal of this campaign is to introduce Telangana residents to the welfare programs and advancements of the Narendra Modi-led federal government. Apart from including the recipients of the central schemes in this yatra, those who fulfill the eligibility requirements but have not yet received benefits from the programs will also be registered.

There are also rumors that G Kishan Reddy may resign as president of the state party. He reportedly wants to focus on his responsibilities as a union minister. He is also said to be curious as to why the BJP failed to get a seat from Secunderabad, his home Lok Sabha district.
