Large fish behind Revanna’s detention and attempt to discredit the Gowda family: HD Kumaraswamy

On Tuesday, HD Kumaraswamy, the state president of the JDS and a former chief minister of Karnataka, said that his brother, HD Revanna, a former minister, had been kidnapped and his imprisonment was politically motivated. Revanna was accused of kidnapping a person who had allegedly been sexually abused by his son Prajwal Revanna.

There’s a huge whale behind all of this, and it was done to damage the reputation of former prime minister HD Deve Gowda and his family. In his statement, Kumaraswamy hinted that DCM DK Shivakumar will eventually face consequences for the whole incident.

He informed reporters that Devaraje Gowda, a lawyer and BJP politician, had been detained for allegedly leaking an audio recording of Shivakumar’s purported role in the distribution of the pen drive, which included explicit films of Prajwal Revanna. “The SIT has arrested Devaraje Gowda instead of the big whale (Shivakumar),” he said.

Is there any sympathy shown by the government to the families of the ladies shown in the videos? I will not be defending anybody at all. The guilty become innocent in the information era we live in. Let the probe be carried out correctly if the government is sincere. However, he said, “There’s no reason to center the probe upon Revanna.

Supporters of MLA H D Revanna gathered in front of former Prime Minister H D Devegowda’s home in Bengaluru on Tuesday, when Revanna visited his father after his release from Parappana Agrahara on bail.

He countered the accusations made by his political opponents, who said that Kumaraswamy wanted to politically destroy the Revanna family. “I support justice and the women who have been wronged,” he said, adding that one of the women had protested to the National Commission for ladies, stating that some individuals posing as SIT officials were intimidating her into filing complaints.

When Home Minister Dr. G Parameshwara was questioned about the actions taken, he said that despite FIRs being filed against the pen drive distributors, the SIT had not detained a single individual. “Why hasn’t the vehicle driver who took the tapes and made a big deal been arrested by SIT? He was interviewed by a private TV broadcaster. He said, “The individual might be located at a private media office and is not being tracked down by SIT.

He also questioned why Naveen Gowda, who had posted on Facebook, perhaps hinting to the release of Prajwal Revanna’s tapes, had not been arrested by SIT. Gowda claimed to have given pen drives to JDS MLAs.

“Now is not the time to rejoice.”

JDS employees were advised by Kumaraswamy not to rejoice at Revanna’s bail release. “The state has seen the most horrible incident, and Revanna was also charged.” I want to inform our party members that while he was granted anticipatory bail, this is not the time to celebrate. “Celebrate the punishment of the wrongdoers,” he said.
