Ludhiana had the greatest rain, with the state as a whole receiving 2.6°C more than usual

The state’s wettest district, Ludhiana, had 15.4 mm of rain in the last 24 hours, followed by Gurdaspur (10.5 mm) and Moga (10 mm), according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Regarding precipitation, March’s total is 7% less than the long-term average. Against the typical 22.2 mm for this time, the state got 20.7 mm of rain from March 1 to the morning of March 30.

The IMD reports that the state’s average maximum temperature was 2.6°C above normal and its average lowest temperature was 1.8°C above normal. Maximum temperatures are expected to drop by 2-4°C over the next three days and climb by 2-3°C over the following two, according to the meteorological office’s prediction.
