Modi criticizes DMK

Prime Minister Narendra Modi began his tour of South India on Monday, taking aim at the governing DMK in an attempt to win over voters on the eve of the 18th general election.

The prime minister took subtle jabs at the son of DMK president and Tamil Nadu chief minister MK Stalin, Udhayanidhi Stalin, who had previously made derogatory remarks about the Sanatan Dharma: “Offending the faith of crores is a characteristic trait of the dynasts.”

After visiting Adilabad in Telangana, the Prime Minister stated the opposition INDI coalition had devised a fresh scheme to mistreat him when he landed in Chennai late on Monday for a public gathering.

Modi visited India’s first indigenous Fast Breeder Reactor (500 MWe) in Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu.

The PM will launch and lay the groundwork for development projects valued at over Rs 6,800 crore on Tuesday. at addition, he will speak at a rally at Sangareddy, which is located around 60 kilometers from Hyderabad.

The PM also expressed gratitude to Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for making time to attend his event in Adilabad, Telangana. “We say that PM stands for elder brother,” Reddy said.
