Modi’s influence impacted rural areas: BJP

The Delhi BJP’s leader for the Lok Sabha election, Om Prakash Dhankar, launched the party’s campaign in the Matiala Assembly seat on Saturday. He spoke to two sizable crowds at Rawta Moud and Shyam Vihar. In honor of the party’s founding day, Dhankar also raised the party flag atop the terrace of the Mata Bhatee School in Sector 19, Dwarka.

The flag-hooping ceremony and meetings were attended by prominent figures such as Ramesh Saukhandha, the head of Najafgarh district, and Kamaljeet Sehrawat, the BJP candidate from west Delhi.

In his speech, Dhankar emphasized how PM Narendra Modi’s government’s policies have had a transformational effect on rural regions’ road infrastructure and agricultural development. He called on the people of Matiala to make sure that the BJP had the largest-ever turnout of voters in the Lok Sabha election.

Sehrawat, however, emphasized PM Modi’s repeated trips to Dwarka and Matiala over the last five years and the development projects carried out in the area, such as the infrastructure project for the Urban Extension Road (UER) and the development hotspot Yashobhumi. She urged the people of Dwarka and Najafgarh to support the BJP in its pursuit of all-encompassing development.

Sachdeva criticizes the AAP’s group fast for the CM

Virendra Sachdeva, the head of the Delhi BJP, criticized the AAP on Saturday for calling for a nationwide fast in protest of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s incarceration on Sunday.
“It is regrettable that AAP leaders are projecting Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s arrest in corruption as persecution against him, instead of apologizing to the public for the liquor scam of their government,” he added.

“Leaders of dynastic or individualistic parties now face difficulties similar to those faced by the AAP, as they are aware that Chief Minister Kejriwal is responsible for the liquor policy scam, but they are unable to speak out against him,” he said.
The head of the Delhi BJP said that it would have been preferable if they had publicly fasted for atonement rather than fasting in favor of the AAP Chief Minister.
