Owaisi backs the AIADMK and rejects a coalition with the Congress

AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi ruled out forming an alliance with any party, including the incumbent Congress in Tamil Nadu, on the second day of his campaign ahead of the 2023 Lok Sabha elections.

The four-time member of parliament from Hyderabad said, “It appears that those who are saying that we have an alliance in Telangana are confused, but we are clear that there is no alliance with any other party.”

Congressman Feroz Khan, who campaigned for office in Hyderabad in 2019 on the party’s ticket, has said that a dosti has been established between the AIMIM and the establishment party. Even their nominee for the part has not yet been announced by the state’s governing Congress.In addition, the AIMIM offered the AIADMK its support for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on Saturday.

“AIADMK has vowed never to form an alliance with the BJP again and has declined to form an alliance with it now. Additionally, it has promised to fight the NPR, CAA, and NRC. As a result, AIMIM offers AIADMK its support for the next Lok Sabha elections. We shall remain united in our coalition for the Assembly elections as well.

Owaisi said on X in a post.In the meanwhile, the AIMIM MP referred to the claims made by the BJP’s recently declared firebrand contender, K Madhavi Latha, that over six lakh votes were fraudulent or duplicates as propaganda from the saffron party.

“The procedure of adding voter names is carried out each year in January, after which the ECI provides the list. I’m not the ECI chief. Everyone has a certain period of time to voice complaints after that. Following the expiration of that period, the final voter list is made public, followed by the addition and deletion list. And what part am I supposed to play in that? It indicates that you are critiquing the ECI’s work. Owaisi said, “These people are dishonoring Hyderabad voters who come from diverse backgrounds with such talks.”

The AIMIM chief described Latha’s purported comments against Owaisi’s identity and clothes as hate speech directed at him. teach them a lesson in elections: “But the people of Hyderabad will not let hate prevail and only love prevail.”

In elections, the people will defeat those who oppose this.

Regarding the travel advisory issued by the Indian government in light of the Iran and Israel issues, Owaisi took aim at the Union government, claiming that the workers were permitted to travel there with the help of the Narendra Modi government, and demanded that the government bring them back right away.

In response to a question on the Old City development project, Owaisi said that the AIMIM has been and would maintain improving Hyderabad.
