Until August 8, Northwest India will get mild to moderate scattered rainfall with reasonably widespread occurrences, according to the IMD’s advisory.

In Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh, sporadic heavy rainfall is anticipated during this time.

Additionally, East Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand are also expected to have scattered extremely heavy rains through Monday.

Madhya Pradesh in central India will likely receive extremely heavy showers on Saturday, along with scattered, large bouts of mild to moderate rainfall.

The IMD forecasted that during the next five days, “there will be light to moderate fairly widespread rainfall in Northeast India with isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, and Manipur.”

The weatherman said that starting on Saturday, rainfall activity would decrease in West India’s Konkan, Goa, and Ghat regions of Madhya Maharashtra.
