PM Modi Conducts “Swachchata Abhiyan” by Cleaning the Nashik Temple

Nashik/New Delhi: As part of the “Swachh Bharat Mission,” Prime Minister Narendra Modi tidied up the grounds of the Kalaram Temple in Nashik, Maharashtra, today.

In Nashik, Maharashtra, the Prime Minister staged a massive roadshow in advance of this morning’s National Youth Festival opening.

Following the roadshow, Prime Minister Modi visited the Shree Kalaram Mandir with Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar.

He was seen singing Ram Bhajan as numerous priests were seated at the temple and he was playing cymbals, a musical instrument.

The priests also performed the Ramayana’s “Yudh Kanda” section, which describes Lord Rama’s homecoming to Ayodhya. The words came to him in Hindi even though the section was performed in Marathi using an AI translation technology.

Later in the day, PM Modi will open Mumbai’s Atal Setu, the country’s longest sea bridge. The construction of Atal Setu came at a cost of almost ₹ 17,840 crore.

He will also attend a public gathering in Navi Mumbai following the inauguration.
