PM Modi’s greeting to the child from Chhattisgarh who gave him his picture as a “daughter of India”

Friday during an electoral rally in Kanker, Chhattisgarh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi penned a letter to a girl who had drawn his likeness and sent it to him.

The schoolgirl Akansha Thakur was informed by Modi that he had received the image, and he praised her for her kindness.

“India’s girls represent the nation’s promising future. My strength in serving the country comes from the love and sense of belonging I get from each and every one of you. For our girls, we have aimed to create a country that is safe, secure, and well-equipped,” the prime minister informed Thakur.

Modi lauded the people of Chhattisgarh, saying they have actively contributed to the nation’s prosperity and development, and he said he has always felt loved by them.

He went on to say that the next twenty-five years would be crucial for shaping the aspirations of the nation’s youth and its destiny.

“May you have immense success going ahead and use your accomplishments to honor your family, society, and nation. With warmest regards for the future, Modi continued.

During an electoral rally in Kanker, the prime minister’s attention was drawn to Thakur’s image.

He had requested Thakur to write her address on the back of the drawing, short pausing his address, and promised to write her a letter.

“Everyone was predicting that PM Modi would visit us,” Thakur said to ANI during the November 2 event. “I made a sketch for him and he said that he would write a letter to me…”
