Police will probe politicians’ involvement in the matter of the phone tapping

Hyderabad: According to Hyderabad city police Commissioner K Sreenivasa Reddy, the investigation agencies are looking into the role played by political figures in the phone tapping case, and the police have no idea where former Special Intelligence Bureau (SIB) head Prabhakar Rao was hiding.

The commissioner said on Friday that the case of the phone tapping is being looked into. He explained that Prabhakar Rao has not received a Red Corner Notice and that such rumors would impede the case and complicate the investigation. The Commissioner said, “Prabhakar Rao will receive a Red Corner Notice in the phone tapping case at the appropriate time.”

Tapping case Sreenivasa Reddy said that the probe into political figures’ participation in the case would go on. He promised that information about the phone tapping case will become available when it was appropriate. “We’re doing all we can to look into this matter. It is illegal to listen in on someone else’s phone without their consent or against society at large. It is a horrible crime to pry into people’s personal life, he said.
