Pradhan praises Ambedkar and calls for tolerance

On the occasion of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar’s birth anniversary in Sambalpur on Sunday, Union Education Minister and BJP Lok Sabha candidate for Sambalpur, Dharmendra Pradhan, paid homage to the man who drafted the Indian Constitution.

 

Speaking to a crowd at Modipara Chowk in the city after decorating Ambedkar’s monument, Pradhan praised the visionary leader for leaving India with a Constitution based on equality and justice. He emphasized how important Babasaheb’s principles are to promoting social justice, equality, and inclusion for all Indian people.

He emphasized that creating a more advanced, educated, skilled, and developed country is essential to achieving Babasaheb’s goals for India and serving as a monument to his legacy.

Pradhan started his day by having breakfast at Thelkopada with SC Morcha activist Aju Tandi as part of the “Modi Vijay Prachar” campaign. He also had a meeting with Dusmantha Behera, a member of the SC community and the son of late BJP activist Dayasagar Behera, to talk about Prime Minister Modi’s welfare programs.

Pradhan said prayers at a number of temples during his nighttime visits, including the Maa Danda Kali Temple in Hirakud, the Hanuman Temple in Sambalpur, and the Kamakshya Temple in Ainthapali. He also took part in the Danda Dance in Hirakud and the Meru Yatra in Khubel.
