Rahul Gandhi should ‘go on’ with his yatra, according to Himanta Sarma. This is the reason

Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma has launched a new assault on Congressman Rahul Gandhi and his current Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, alleging that the party is encountering difficulties wherever it goes.

Speaking at the BJP’s Vijay Sankalp Yatra in Telangana on Tuesday, Sarma said, “Congress is crumbling wherever the (Bharat Jodo) Nyay Yatra is passing through…They are now traveling to UP, but they are having disagreements with Akhilesh Yadav. “There will be ‘Anyay’ (injustice) with Congress wherever the Nyay Yatra goes.”

The chief minister of Assam could have been hinting to reports that the Congress and its partner Samajwadi Party were at a standstill in their discussions over seat sharing in advance of the Lok Sabha elections. It is worth noting that the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra is now passing through Uttar Pradesh.

“Rahul Gandhi is touring India on his Bharat Jodo Yatra,” Sarma went on. Proceed, I say. He lost elections in three states when he made his first tour of India. He’s going to lose the whole nation this time.”

Sarma questioned the Gandhi scion’s accomplishments and leadership in addition to his criticism.

“What did Prime Minister Modi accomplish, according to Rahul Gandhi? Additionally, on the National Highway that Prime Minister Modi constructed, Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi put on a driving display. All Rahul Gandhi has discovered in this world are falsehoods. I sometimes question if he is intelligent.”

Sarma’s comments coincide with the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, which is now taking place in anticipation of the next Lok Sabha elections. The yatra intends to travel 6,700 miles across 15 states.

He is somewhat correct when he criticizes the campaign’s efficacy. The yatra has already traversed Bihar and West Bengal. It began in conflict-torn Manipur and is scheduled to end in Mumbai. Furthermore, Congress has lately seen reversals in each of these states.

Nitish Kumar, the leader of the JD(U), split from the Mahagathbandhan alliance, which included the Congress and RJD, to establish a coalition with the BJP and create the government in Bihar. Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of West Bengal, also announced that the Trinamool Congress, her party, will contest the Lok Sabha election independently in the state.
