Ram Lal Anand College at Delhi University received a bomb threat; staff and students were evacuated

Ram Lal Anand College at Delhi University was rocked by a bomb threat that a staff member received on Thursday morning. According to Rohit Meena, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Southwest), the message was received on WhatsApp at 9:34 a.m.

Police responded quickly, evacuating students and staff from the college grounds with the help of an ambulance, the Bomb Detection Team, and the Bomb Disposal Squad. “A search and check are being conducted. Nothing unusual has been discovered thus far,” the officer stated.

At Delhi Airport, there was a bomb threat call.
In a related incident, on February 27, an anonymous caller threatened to blow up the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport. According to the police, an investigation revealed that the threat was a hoax.

A police spokesperson stated that it was discovered that the call was fraudulent. They added that all necessary safety procedures were carried out with the passengers’ security in mind.
