Reduced traffic on the Chandigarh-Ambala national route affects Lalru’s restaurant business

The Chandigarh-Ambala national highway has severely damaged roadside restaurants, stores, and other enterprises due to the total stop of traffic over the Jharmari barrier. Lalru has a low profile and is not very active on the national route.

Local filling stations’ supplies of gasoline and diesel arouse residents’ anxiety. Pupils in grades X and XII at schools with affiliations to the CBSE are crossing their fingers that they can make it to the testing centers in time for tomorrow’s exams.

Due to cash shortages and disruptions from the Internet, numerous ATMs in the Lalru area were unable to operate today for the third day in a row.

SDM Dera Bassi “There’s a problem with the internet here,” Himanshu Gupta stated. We are also attempting to resolve traffic-related difficulties.

The proprietor of a mobile store next to the Lalru bus stop, Neeraj Kumar, said, “Digital and UPI transactions have been unavailable for the last two to three days.” Right present, there is no lack of goods.

Despite delays, tankers and trucks are still carrying supplies to Punjab and Himachal Pradesh from the BPCL facility near Alamgir.
