Shimla MP: Congress is a failing ship

The Congress faces widespread threats to its survival and is on the brink of becoming a regional entity. During his visit to Arki today, BJP candidate and MP Suresh Kashyap made this statement. “No one wants to get on board the sinking ship that is Congress today. The fact that no major leader wants to run for office on the Congress ticket and that many leaders are returning their tickets to the high command is indicative of the deplorable state of things inside the party.

He went on to say that the Congress was to blame for the current unstable environment in the state. “The state government has undertaken every effort to steer the area away from development by de-notifying the development works undertaken by the BJP government in Arki.”

The Himachal Roadways Transport Corporation depot and a division of the Public Works and Jal Shakti Departments were established by the administration headed by Jayram Thakur. According to Kashyap, the Congress administration shuttered these offices and engaged in anti-development policies that caused the state to regress rather than advance.

Suresh Kashyap praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, saying, “The country is moving on the path of progress under his leadership. The PM has carved a niche for himself in India and abroad.”

In an effort to guarantee that Prime Minister Modi would steer this nation toward progress for a third time, he made another plea to the people of Arki.
